#1/#2: Like the doors to most of the other rooms, an electronic door opener and an infrared sensor were installed on this door. Thus it could be opened with my remote control. As a back up, should the opener malfunction or I lose my remote control, a keypad lock was installed on the door so that I wouldn't have to struggle with a set of keys.
